Highlights

Chichibu Night Festival: an annual festival held at Chichibu Shrine on 3 December and is one of the Three Best Float Parade Festivals in Japan. Along the streets of Chichibu city, six elaborately decorated floats parade to the festival music. The climax is when spectacular fireworks adorn the night sky, which brings an additional colour to the festival.

This is a local tour participated mainly by the Japanese.
A tour conductor or staff of your preferred language will accompany the tour from the designated meeting place (at a designated airport in case of a tour with airplanes) and provides the participant with basic information necessary for the tour (such as meeting place and time at each stop etc) in your preferred language. Sightseeing brochures in your preferred language also be provided.

Please be ready to walk for 20-30 minutes from the dropping-off point to the festival site.

Day 1, time for lunch is not allotted in the itinerary. Come to the meeting place after having lunch on your own.

The festival is held even if it rains or snows.

Wearing clothes and shoes that let you move easily and comfortably is strongly recommended.

Visiting spots might be very cold. Bringing thick winter clothes is strongly recommended.

According to traffic conditions etc, the order of the itinerary may have to be changed.
